The primary goal of the lower grades is to maintain the children’s curiosity and interest in learning. The teacher’s main task is to help students in this process of cognition, and lead them from the kindergarten’s play-centric activities to the school’s learning environment. The teachers work together with the students to make their learning based on activities and life-like situations.
In addition to the development of basic skills, children are encouraged by getting to know and develop their personalities and abilities as thoroughly as possible, and by developing their motivation to learn and cooperate.
We take maximum account of the individual rhythm. It is important to gain experience, systematize observations, and recognize causal relationships.
The task of this time is to develop a certain number of concepts and to master the basic operations, in order to develop logical thinking.
Our goal is the continuous development of communication skills, reading and speaking skills together with comprehension and text creation. We work on the simultaneous development of writing skills and fine motor skills. Our top priority is raising children who love reading.
From the third year onwards, the appreciation of social relations enables the development of social competencies. The increasing use of cooperative and project methods and interactive forms of work in learning processes allows communication skills to become tools in addition to positive personality traits.
